Great seats in a not so great stadium. Out of a possible 4 stars, I would give it 3.5. We were right on the 30 which isn't all that different of a perspective than the seats at midfield. Rows 21-38 offer the best view from the 2nd block of seats. Walk down before the game and watch warmups like we did. The Raiders used the sideline in front of us and it's neat to see all of your favorite Raiders this close and in person.
This place carries a very weird dynamic...the fan base in Oakland is vastly different than what you'll find in San Francisco. But the difference between A's and Raiders fans is also just as noticeable. Visiting fans aren't welcomed too often, especially if you root for the Chiefs, Chargers or Broncos. Raiders fans seem to really hate the Broncos fans after Manning's arrival.
We usually tailgate before games but didn't this particular day. If you're planning on purchasing a parking pass ahead of time, the best tailgating takes place in Lots A through D.
