Not sure why they call the 400s the Eagles Nest but it works. Okay, so if you're afraid of heights, do NOT purchase tickets for events at the Verizon Center that put you in section 429 or any other 400 level section, particularly any row in the 400s beyond C or D.

I was here for a Capitals-Devils game and had seats in the very last row, and it gave me the worst case of vertigo... I couldn't get up the steps without shaking, and I doubt I was the only fan. The Verizon Center staff were extremely helpful with the situation.

Food and beverages were terribly overpriced, but that is to be expected in this kind of venue. I recommend eating before you walk in the arena at one of the many restaurants nearby; Mccormick and Schmick's, Bar Louie.

Vertigo aside, the game was amazing... there wasn't really a bad seat in 429 sight-line wise, and they did a good job moving fans in and out of the section and arena overall.
