To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 201, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Sharks vs. Chicago Blackhawks game.

The best section in the upper level. Dead center-ice. 17 rows in this section. Not a bad seat in this arena whatsoever.
In most NHL arenas, the upper level is a poor viewing area. In San Jose, all sections share the same concourses on one level. Small arena which is why the venue sounds so loud for home games.
