I would avoid this section altogether. The stairs are steep and there is practically no railing to save you in case you were to fall. Or at least there wasn't when I came here for an Islanders game.
The seating is as uncomfortable as I have had for a sporting event except when you sit in the bleachers at the ballpark.
Worst of all, the Islanders championship banners hang in your view, even in row A!!! It doesn't completely obstruct your view of the ice but the higher you go in the section, the worse it gets. You can blame that in part on the building's low ceilings. This place has the ambiance of a college hockey arena. Come see it before they tear it down but go with seating in the 100s or 200s.
