To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 122, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Sabres game at the First Niagara Center.
I sat here for the Sabres-Flyers game, row 7 and fell in love with these seats. Wish I was able to afford season tickets, I'm only able to attend maybe one Bills and one Sabres game each season. One thing I like about the corners of the ice is the closeness you have to the boards where some of the most physical play takes place. Fans always tend to be a little rowdier in the corners and behind the net, no matter which team you're watching.
The Sabres only shoot here once, during the 2nd period, so if you're a visiting fan to Buffalo, section 122 will be a great section for you. There are better NHL arenas than this one in terms of amenities and history but I enjoy the First Niagara Center. It's home.
