Our seats in 327 were near the top but we still left the game satisfied with what we got. (Pats-Buffalo Bills, 2012). Tickets are still pricey in this section but you'll pay fractions here of what you'll pay elsewhere in the stadium; especially the Putnam Club on the 2nd level.
The seats are packed in together tightly but during the winter months, you won't mind this at all because that's how everyone stays warm. And at least these aren't bleacher seats like the Bills have in their home stadium.
Finding your seats could become a problem so I'll tell you the easiest way to get to 327. Enter through the Ubid.com Gate on the south side of the stadium and take the ramp to the top. When you reach the top, follow the signs to section 327 on your right. If you want to avoid the last rows, stay out of any row that's in the "20s". But to some, those will be good seats too so not everyone should rule those seats out.

Gillette Stadium is no Lambeau Field (home of the Packers) in terms of football tradition and history, but I do enjoy the little things that make it home to the Patriots. I love the colonial men in the North end zone that shoot their guns off whenever the Patriots score a touchdown. What other NFL franchise has something like that? I also love the bridge and the lighthouse that mimicks the Longfellow Bridge in Boston.
The semi-new Patriot Place is also the place to be before and after games until the parking clears out. There is only one hotel on sight (The Renaissance) and I'm surprised they haven't added more although there are only 8 Patriots games each season.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 327, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Patriots/Tennessee Titans game at Gillette Stadium.
