Made the trip to Foxborough to see the Colts take on the Patriots last season. Was a little different not seeing Peyton vs. Brady and as a result the Colts got absolutely lit up for the big loss.

Gillette Stadium is a state of the art stadium that still feels like a new stadium even though it's 10 seasons old.
Our seats were in 108, row 36, seats 7 and 8. Row 36 was one of the last few rows in section 108 and will get a considerable amount of protection from the sun for the 1pm games thanks to the 2nd level overhang. Same story in most stadiums you go to, the last few rows are usually under the shade.

108 has a very central view of the field; we were only feet from the 50 yard line and behind the Patriots players' bench. Before the game, you shouldn't have any trouble walking down to snap photos of Coach Bill or Tom Brady with your camera. Thre will be many other fans attempting to do the same. Ushers/security at Gillette seemed to be hit or miss. Some seemed rude and many seemed overly friendly to other fans.
The seats are roomy without being too generous but then again I'm only 5'9.
Finding our seats were easy, we took the main gate and found our seats straight ahead on the right. Navigation is simple and there were plenty of signs to show us where to go.

Although we didn't buy anything, we checked out the Patriots Pro Shop which has to be one of the nicest I've seen. It's massive and is more part of the shopping area than the actual stadium. We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel on sight so didn't have to worry about parking and dealing with that nonsense. We got to drink as much as we pleased and it felt amazing.
They had a good selection of Micro Brews on tap but we settled for Sam Adams, the favorite amongst the locals. If you've never had Boston Clam Chowder, you can sample some at Gillette.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 108, here is a Youtube video shot from row 24 (seat 15) before a Patriots game at Gillette Stadium.
