Our seats in 117 were surrounded by some great fans and came with a great line of sight. The Lions were facing the Carolina Panthers (in 2011). Had a difficult time seeing both sides of the field throughout the game but that's the only knock to end zone seats that I've found. If either team has a strong running game, you will be in agony because you can't see where the ball reaches on a running play - instead, you will have to refer to the scoreboard to see where the ball is placed - almost like watching at home. If you've had end zone seats in any other NFL Stadium, you can expect a similar experience in the end zones of Ford Field.
The easiest way to get to these seats would be to enter Gate F on St. Antoine Street and then taking a left in the concourse. The concourses are wide open and the foot traffic flows very easily, especially near the corners. If you can recall the concourses at the old Silverdome, it's completely the opposite.
This place is definitely the premier indoor venue in the NFL and it's much more friendly to fans than some of the other stadiums I've visited (Metrodome, Soldier Field).

Took my son to a Lions-Packers game in 2009. Had a great time. Loved giving him the nfl experience at such a young age.

This section is in the middle of the endzone. You should go for aisle seats to avoid having the uprights obstruct your view of the field.
Rows are numbered 1 thru 41; our seats were in row 12. Don't recall what I paid for the tickets. I highly recommend this section.
