I was able to get my hands on tickets for row 7 for last season's matchup with the Green Bay Packers. The atmosphere was amazing, you could definitely call 115 and it's surrounding neighbors one of the rowdier sections in the stadium. Lions fans are pessimistic but passionate. They've been thru a lot but still show up to the games and cheer loud as if it's playoff time.
The seats are comfortable, all 60,000+. And for the most part, the sight lines are great even on the top level. I love how the organization used glass to allow for light to get in which for day games gives off a little bit of the illusion that you're outdoors. I don't know if I could tolerate bad football during the harsh Detroit winters so I'm glad Ford Field is indoors.
