Was a season ticket holder for section 442 once upon a time. Loved having 10 games a season to look forward to but unfortunately had to give them up to save money. This section's bread and butter is it's view of the North end zone. Stares right at it but I could always see every part of the playing field at all times from my row. There are 36 rows in all in this section. Closer the better obviously but I understand that due to the demand of tickets, Bears tickets aren't exactly affordable to the average fan. You shouldn't have any issues finding seats past row 30 in the $140 range. I know it's a lot but you've just got to come to Soldier Field at least once. There are no 4th level end zone seats at Soldier Field so most seats you choose in the 400s are going to provide a decent view since they all sit along the sideline. The outer edges should be avoided though. The best view for the money though is definitely the Media Deck on the opposite side of the stadium (2nd level). Not too high up but has the perfect perspective of the field.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 442, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Bears game at Soldier Field.
