Bank of America may not be the newest stadium in the NFL, but it gets the job done. If you leave disappointed it won't be because of the stadium.
I sat here in 503, row 9 for the Panthers/Bears game a few weeks ago. It was a preseason game but I still had fun and enjoyed these seats the best way I could. Our section was dead, almost half-full and fans seemed to sit wherever they wanted. I've only been to one regular season Panthers game and it wasn't much more lively than the Bears game.

If your seats are anywhere in the upper levels, just know that the stairs leading to your seats will be steep. You can see the field from just about anywhere though- so 503 will have a great bird's eye view from the end zone.
Since the Panthers will be playing though, you'll probably have a better time enjoying the food and shopping in the team store. But if you do choose to watch, the seats are fairly comfortable. There wasn't a ton of leg room between our row so climbing in and out of any row will be a bit tricky. I think the favorite part about my experience aside from the cheap tickets was being able to see the beautiful skyscrapers from our seats. That, and being able to sample JJR BBQ for the first time.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 503, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Panthers/Buffalo Bills game at Bank of America Stadium.
