Our seats in 225 were great seats (row 11, seat 11). Not nearly as far from the action as what it looks when you're on the bottom level looking up. Not too many bad seats at this arena either, aside from those directly behind the goal. I've been to at least 20 games total over the years while living in the city. The seats don't offer a ton of wiggle room but they all had drink holders and the ushers are always more than happy to show you how to get to your seats.
The only thing I didn't like was how dark and cavernous it feels up there. The only light seems to be the light shining onto the court. That could be an illusion caused by the all black seats.
Make sure you try the footlong hot dogs outside of section 225. If you prefer to sit down for your meal, try Headlines Restaurant in the West Atrium of the main level. It will be crowded before the game so make sure you arrive and park in plenty of time. The arena is on the edge of downtown San Antonio so it's not exactly within walking distance of the downtown hotels and attractions so in all likelihood, you'll be spending money on food and drink at the arena.
