I know what you're thinking...the Thunder are just another small market team with a meager fan base and thus a below average NBA experience. Oklahoma City is a college sports town first and foremost but the city has really taken to this team especially after their numerous playoff appearances.
I decided to finally give a Thunder game a try on March 10th, 2012 for the Charlotte Bobcats game. I had been to Chesapeake Energy Arena many times over the years for concerts (terrible accoustics).
My girlfriend and I sat in row J of 318. Definitely one of the least desirable sections in the arena and probably a section worth skipping. I know that the lower level seats are affordable for most games so I doubt that there are fans that go out of their way to sit in this section. The basketball court is very small but I would imagine if the Barons played at the arena instead of Cox Arena, these would be better seats for hockey.
