Was definitely impressed with the view of the court we got from our seats here. First of all, it's very small, only six rows so the environment is perfect unless you like sitting with the large crowds of Heat fans like down on the bottom level. Sitting behind the net isn't as bad when you sit on the upper level, could see all inches of the floor. The fast breaks were the funnest to watch - I mean, you're watching Lebron James and the Heat! The seating areas are very dark and shaded, just like at the Staples Center, where the Lakers play.

When you walk into the arena, you'll notice that it isn't a monstrosity like you maybe expecting. I thought the "Heat Street Band" playing outside of the arena was a nice touch. It's a rather small NBA arena and the fan base is very laid back. The concourse area doesn't get too jam packed with fans but the gates/security checks can since gates open only an hour before tip-off. The organization should change this and give fans more of an opportunity to walk around and mingle. The Heat's main team store is on the bottom level. You should also have no second thoughts about wearing your Bulls or Lakers jersey into the arena when visiting. No one really cares!

If you have tickets for section 301, you should enter through Gate 2 and look for the escalator straight ahead. The numerous escalators will allow fans to access all levels of the arena.

To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 301, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Heat game at American Airlines Arena.
