Highly recommend this section-I've sat here numerous times. You can just sit back and relax and watch the game with little need to maneuver yourself to see what's going on. Most of the fans are going to be focused towards the middle so you can always count on this section as having a lively fan environment and being full of people.

If you're going to sit upper level at the Staples Center or any other NBA arena in general, why not do it in style? 318 is a no brainer but it has slightly more rows than the upper level sections (12). I personally wouldn't sit past row 5 because I hate climbing stairs and it can become quiet dangerous if you've had one too many drinks before the game.

Since the Staples Center is a relatively new arena, I was expecting pretty good seating and great views of the court. And I got it. The arena still has that new feel to it, 14 years later. By this I mean there was a minimal amount of gum on the ground, the floor wasn’t sticky and the restrooms and concourses were bright and clean.

I was also glad that I could actually see above the heads of the fans in the rows in front of us. The seats themselves were pretty comfortable, and I found the leg room to be sufficient but I would have liked maybe two more inches between each armrest. Anyway, I give the Staples Center five stars when it comes to seating and four stars overall.

The parking is a headache and the prices for beer and concessions are god awful. You're better off spending money at LA Live eating and pre drinking but would you expect cheap concessions in one of the busiest arenas in the world?
