Seat view from section 208 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers

When it comes to upper level seating at Bankers Life, it doesn't get much better than section 208. I always try to sit there when I can't find affordable tickets on the main level. If it's a weeknight game versus the Cavaliers, Bobcats or Pelicans, you should be able to sit wherever you want in this section without another fan asking you to move. This is the case most of the time, attendance wasn't good last season until the Pacers were destined for a playoff run.

There are two things I must warn you about when sitting here, though.
1) The view of the court from the last few rows could be bothered by the banners that hang on this side of the arena. This would include rows 22 and 23.
2) The stairs are extremely steep. Makes it tough to walk for the less than in shape Pacers fans.
The best and simplest way to get to these seats is to enter the arena through the Delaware Street entrance and look for the escalators to the upper level. When you find the escalator, just follow the crowds to the top. There is plenty of signage all over, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding your seats. The area outside of section 208 is called the "FinishLine Pavilion".

If you've never been to Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a Pacers game, you're really missing out. These were my seats for the OKC Thunder game during last season's game. I have sat all over this arena over the years and section 208 has by far the best view of any of the upper level seats. Most of the seating is focused towards the lower bowl so the upper level sections are fairly small and fans aren't all crammed together in their rows.
These seats are exactly center court and the Pacers organization has done a great job at keeping these seats very affordable for families. I purchased two tickets for $30 and you would pay $50 a ticket for these same seats in LA, New York or Chicago. Most importantly, I love the design of the arena and how the glass lets natural light into the arena for games played during the afternoons. Few NBA arenas can match the design of this place and it's old school design.
