Sat here on January 7th, 2012, row 10, for the Charlotte Bobcats game. Row 10 was the second to last row. 216 suited me just fine though every fan's preference has and always will be the first level. The game is much more intimate when you sit close to the floor and you're able to gain an appreciation for the size and athleticism of the players when you sit close to the court as well.
Because the arena is so big and the court is so small, the sight lines suffer a little. The goal acts as a little bit of an obstruction but you can see most of the floor pretty well. Following the basketball was very easy and if you really know the game, you can see which offensive and defensive scheme each team runs.

There is always a surplus of tickets for Pacers games so you shouldn't have any trouble finding seats that fit your seating preference. I really doubt that anyone would ever sit here out of preference.
