The Barclays Center has been home to the Brooklyn Nets since 2012. The arena was constructed at an estimated cost of $1 billion dollars and has a capacity of 18,103. The Nets had previously played their home games at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey where they were known as the New Jersey Nets until 2012. The Barclays Center is also home to the NHL's New York Islanders.
