Sat in 509, row 4 during a Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees game. Whenever the Yankees are in town, the good seats are usually pretty scarce, even in this monstrosity of a ballpark. There are a lot of fans in the Buffalo, NY area that drive to Toronto for those games.
So we opted for 509 thanks to a deal we found on Stubhub, loved the ease of just being able to print our tickets at home.
Paid roughly $50 for two seats which isn't worth it for just any old game but the atmosphere was much improved compared to what it usually is.

If you're wearing a rival jersey or t shirt into the Rogers Center (almost said Skydome), the home team fans are usually pretty welcoming but also unpredictable so just be respectful to others.
The seats are very cramped and uncomfortable not just in this section but all over. This place was built during the 80s so it lacks the precision that some of the newer ballparks have. I would have to guess that half the league has had new ballparks erected after 1992.
You'll also notice that there is a ton of grass on the field and not much dirt. It's all astroturf and I've heard many times that they're switching to real gras this year but I haven't noticed.
Enjoy the game but just so you know, there are much better places to sit than section 509.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 509, here is a Youtube video shot from row 12 before a Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre.
