I sat here for an Astros game in 2010 and was a little disappointed. The left field foul pole WILL obstruct your view of the field from a few of the seats in this section although it didn't ours and we were in row 9.
170 is one section I would avoid simply because there are so many other great sections for you to sit in as an alternative. Row 8 was actually the first row in this section which isn't all that common these days.
