Section 135 meets home plate at a 90 degree angle so you're located on the third and first baselines if that makes any sense. Phenomenal seats! Just keep in mind that row 9 is the very first row, so if you can sit anywhere near that row, you're in business.
The rows in our section were very small - maybe only 9 or 10 seats per row which made getting in and out very easy. The leg room was adequate, I had no complaints. We were in row 13 and our seats were reasonably priced: $120 for two tickets, not bad considering how close we were to the field. This place is very "green" with the green colored seats, the grass and the cloudy skies that often accompany Mariners games.
There isn't a ton to do in the surrounding area since the SoDo neighborhood is still being developed but there are a few bars/restaurants that are worth checking out. Pyramid Brewery, the Hawk's Nest and King Street Bar and Oven are popular spots. But if you want creative cuisine, take the train back to downtown and take your pick. The Capitol Hill neighborhood has a lot of cute little establishments and is where the younger crowd hangs out.
To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 135, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mariners/Chicago White Sox game at Safeco Field.
