Was in row 34 for a day game which turned out to be a blessing because we were underneath the overhang of the 2nd level and the Sun was so hot that day. It was a decent view but sitting 30+ rows from the field isn't exactly an intimate experience.

Our seats were on the same side of the field as the Braves dugout and we saw plenty of Braves fans. Needless to say, Phillies did their usual welcoming to visitors with a few four lettered words sent their way. Such a classy fan base!

We stayed downtown and took the Broad Street subway to the Sports Complex area. I've never had the opportunity to see two games of different sports on the same day but I want to maybe one day check out a Phillies day game and a Flyers night game. I hear the parking lots become a real headache at that point but when only one event is going on, it's kind of a free for all and is easy to find parking.

All in all, this is a beautiful ballpark and it has all of the intangibles that set it apart from all of the other retro/modern ballparks. The Liberty Bell, Ashburn alley, rooftop bleachers, Harry the K's, statues of former Phillies greats. I know we'll be back!

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 127, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Phillies/Colorado Rockies game at Citizens Bank Park.
