Very comfortable setting for Mets baseball! Fans were great in our section and for the most part well behaved. I could see all of that changing when the Yankees or Phillies are in Flushing. Navigation around the stadium is tough, not going to lie. Unless you know the layout really well, ask the security staff where your seats are. It will only save you time and the headache. On that note, take the 7 train to Citi Field if coming from New York and the LIRR if coming from New Jersey. Sitting behind home plate anywhere at Citi Field is a treat but the tickets take a decent price jump the closer you get. You'll pay $30 for these seats on most nights, a little less when the Mets slip deeper and deeper out of the potential playoff race. We paid $45 on Stubhub for two seats.
All of the seats are dark green. I miss the old orange seats at Shea Stadium. A mix of Met Blue and Orange would add more spirit to this stadium but I doubt that will happen. Wilpon seems to like keeping this place neutral and not too much like a theme park.
