Even though we were at the top of the stadium in a venue that holds over 50,000 people, top deck 12 has some great seats. We were right above the Pirates dugout along the first base side. It was a night game and the weather was nice and the Dodger won so I was happy. They've improved the jumbo trons in the outfield and made them bigger which has enhanced the experience for us fans that always sit in the cheap seats. The players look very small from this section but you can still hear the crack of the bat and the sound of the ball hitting the catcher's mitt. Still, rows A through E are the best seats because they limit the amount of stairs you have to climb.
There are a good amount of restrooms on this side of the stadium. The food variety is lacking. With a lack of bars and restaurants on the stadium grounds, fans are forced to either bring in their own food or suck it up and pay for the overpriced concession items. Beers are $9, Dodger dogs are $5.

We could also see the San Gabriel Mountains in the distance really well from section 12. There's just something about watching a game at Dodger Stadium and then walking out to the parking lot and seeing downtown LA in the distance afterwards. This is a very old but scenic ballpark - built into the side of a mountain. It sucks that no tailgating is allowed on the grounds - it was allowed a long time ago but a few bad Dodgers fans decided they had to ruin it for us all.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from top deck 12, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Dodgers/Washington Nationals game at Dodger Stadium.
