If you've ever watched an Angels game on tv, then more than likely, you've noticed the 'Fred Flintstone Looking Thing' in the outfield. It's a neat little rock display that no other ballpark can duplicate. Section 258 isn't far to the left of it but you still don't get the view of it from these seats that the fans in the infield do.

Just so you know, the left field pavilion seats ARE NOT bleacher seats, thank goodness so each seat offers plenty of comfort for every fan. Only thing I didn't like was that the bullpens down in front of these seats make it a little harder to see the outfield. Still, it wasn't that big of a deal. There's no real spot for your to get autographs from the relief pitchers out here so you may have better luck standing near either dugout during batting practice. That is, if the ushers will let you.

I love Dodger Stadium but since I live here in Orange County, Angel Stadium is a much more practical place to see a baseball game. I go to about 20 Angel games a year and I usually sit in the outfield pavilion seats because I can see a high volume of games without spending my life's savings. If you don't get sucked into buying the $10 beers and the $6 hot dogs and ride the Metrolink, Angels games can actually be quiet cheap.
If you're feeling an extra sense of urge to see another ballpark and live in SoCal, check out Petco Park in San Diego. It's super clean with a lot to do right outside of the stadium in the Gaslamp District.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 258, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Angels/Detroit Tigers game at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
