Took the whole family to an Angels game earlier this season. We sat in Section 126, Row S, Seats 1-4. For those of you that aren't familiar with the Angel Stadium seating chart, these seats are on the first base side... we were right behind the Blue Jays dugout, about 20 rows up from the field. Even though we were in row S, I could see the details on the player's uniforms really well if that tells you anything. Luckily I remembered to bring my new camera with a strong zoom, so I was able to get some nice close up photos of 1st base and home plate during the game. Encarnacion, Jose Bautista, Pujols, Mike Trout, Josh Hamilton, there were a lot of great players playing that night.

Overall, the stadium is a lot nicer than the "Barrio" known as Dodger Stadium. But I guess a ball game is a ball game. Angel Stadium has better vendors and concessions for food than Dodger Stadium, like Ruby's Diner, Panda Express, Nicky Enzo's and Chronic Tacos. I'm sure SoCal baseball fans are constantly comparing the two.
The main team store was outside of section 120, you can't miss it if you're entering the ballpark through the home plate side. The easiest way to get to section 126 without walking a ton and battling the crowds is to enter through Gate 4 on the first base side. If you want to check out the Giant Angels hats, then you will enter through gates 2 and 3.
There is something for every baseball fan at this place. Come check it out.

-Outstanding seats but didn't like that the sun shined so hard on us. The third base side seemed to have plenty of shade. Why is this important? Because summers in Southern California can be absolutely brutal so if the forecast is calling for humidity, you may want to rethink coming to an Angels day game. And to top it all off, the Angels lost to the lowly Orioles that day.
At the foot of sections 126 and 127 are the perfect place to seek autographs before the game from the visiting players during BP. (It's next to the visitors dugout). Not sure how the usher will feel about that, it's usually hit or miss with those guys.
Tickets in the All Star sections are pretty easy to come by online. I wouldn't recommend trying to score good seats at the ballpark from the box office or from a ticket scalper on the street. You're better off sucking it up and paying good money for decent seats because you always get what you pay for.
Enjoy these seats and Go Angels!

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 126, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Angels/Minnesota Twins game at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
