Section 301 definitely isn't worth your time. You will get practically the same view from the "RockPile" and those seats are $4. 301 is right next to the RockPile but up a little higher and you'll have an individual seat in section 301 but the RockPile seats (section 401-403) are all bleachers. It's all about preference, really. As long as you don't get stuck behind either foul pole, I think you'll enjoy your seats at Coors Field.
If you're in the mood for food during the game, check out the Sandlot Brewery on the bottom level. The food is expensive but no more expensive than anywhere else in the ballpark.
