I've been coming to Cleveland Indian games since they played at the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium. I miss it terribly even though the sight lines were terrible; I made a lot of childhood memories there with both Indian and Browns fans. Let me first say that Progressive Field is definitely an improvement and largely contributed to them being so successful in the late 90s.
Section 169 will put a smile on your face. I love the box seats down the third base side since the sections are so slim in terms of seats per row. Each section and row is almost identical with maybe 10 seats total per row. But there is plenty of space for your feet and knees. The upper deck at this park, however, is a different story. If you're going to sit up there, sit behind home plate. The seats above the mezzanine are especially bad but they're keeping the upper deck closed for most games these days. And some of the other Major League teams that are doing the same include the Oakland A's and the Miami Marlins...not good my friends, not good.
To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 169, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Indians game at Progressive Field.
