516 sits right above home plate. The 500s are still on the second level which will come as a surprise to many fans once they get there; just watch out for the support pole to the left of this section, it can keep you from seeing parts of left field. I hate the support beams but Wrigley Field wouldn't be Wrigley Field without them. Seats were comfortable. Our section was full so we had to sit in our assigned seats. It was a day game; most Cubs games are day games which makes sitting under the overhang attractive during the summer months. Most of this section, if not all, is indeed covered by the overhang so you will appreciate the shade.

I love every thing about this ballpark. It's cozy, great old time score board without too many little graphics, advertisements or electronics. The ballgame is the focus, not the other distractions you see at newer ballparks. Wrigley Field is definitely worth going to once if you're a baseball fan.
