Made the trip from LA to Phoenix to check out the Dodgers. There are many many times throughout the year where you can make the same trip; Phoenix is a beautiful city but hot like Las Vegas.
The crowd shows up for the Dodger games but from what I hear, Chase Field stays pretty empty for most of the year.

Sat in section G and we were about five rows up. The lettered sections span from behind home plate to behind the dugouts and are close as you'll be able to get to the field. What I loved the most about these seats was being ahead of the pitchers and being able to make out which pitches they were throwing. And you always get a good scare when a foul tip comes off the bat towards the back netting. Seats are comfortable but you'll have a long trek to the concourse if you sit in a single lettered section.

Seats were about $100 A piece, well worth it because those same seats would be $250 at Dodger Stadium.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section G, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Dbacks/San Francisco Giants game at Chase Field.
