 The Verizon Center, formerly the MCI center, has
been home to the Washington Capitals since 1997.
It was constructed at an estimated cost of  260
Million dollars and has a capacity of 18,277; the 14th largest NHL Arena.

The arena is also home to the Washington Wizards of
the NBA.
