Attended the Sharks vs. Phoenix Coyotes game last season. Not the ideal game considering how terrible the Coyotes typically are but they almost made the Stanley Cup playoffs!
It was a great game. We sat in row 9 of this section. We could see everything just fine. You can still hear the banging of the players against the glass and can still hear the players calling for the puck. The upper level is only the second level at HP Pavilion so there are great seats all over.

Where you sit is all about preference although I will say sitting close to the ice does give fans the ultimate hockey experience. If you just need a great view, section 225 will do.

My only gripe was that fans have more room in terms of seating; more leg room and more elbow room. If you get stuck to a large man in a winter coat, good luck and enjoy the game.
