The upper level seats are a little tight; this is one of the smaller NHL arenas so they pack fans in like sardines. I don't recall there being any cup holders in the seats; I could be wrong. The stairs were tiny but I think that was to keep them from being too steep. Be careful carrying your drinks up and down the upper levels, though.
The fans are laid back; they won't give you a hard time if you've got another team's jersey on but they do get loud for their Sharks. One of the best hockey experiences I've had was sitting in 214. Great seats.
