I was a season ticket holder for three seasons in section 316 so I guess you could say I'm kind of an expert on it. I have a lot of great memories from those days, loved having something to help you look forward to on those long days at work.

The very first row is row A and it runs all the way up thru row S. I was in one of the last few rows and the rink is big enough that the puck is very easy to follow but you definitely have to make an attempt to stay in touch with the game. It's easy to sit up there and get caught up in a conversation and all of a sudden the first period is over.
Binoculars aren't necessary but could be beneficial to some fans.

I think what I enjoyed the most about 316 was having the goalie's perspective most of the game. You'll be almost exactly behind the net and it's fun watching the players skate hard for the puck toward you, especially when the passes are nice and tight.
You get what you pay for. I've sat next to the glass for a Sens game too and that's a completely different experience. If I could afford those seats for season tickets, it would be a dream come true but I think most fans will enjoy section 316; it has a fun atmosphere up there.

To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 316, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Senators vs. Buffalo Sabres game.
