104 is a pretty exciting place to sit for all of the crash and bang into the glass. The corners are the best places to sit rinkside although many seem to think behind the benches is the best way to go. You'll find out the hard way if you ever sit in that location.

I saw the Canadiens play the New Jersey Devils from row W which was one of the last few rows in 104. You can still see the ice with perfection but what sucks is having to walk down to the entrance tunnel. Most of the seating capacity is focused on the red level at Centre Bell so the red level is massive with a ton of rows.

I never got to see a game at the old Forum, I didn't grow up in Montreal. You can still visit the original building, it's a few minutes from Centre Bell but it's just not the same considering they've made it into a little shopping/entertainme nt district. If you've ever seen the Nicolas Cage movie 'Snake Eyes', it was filmed at the old Montreal Forum. It's where the Habs began their quest to become the NHL's most storied team.

To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 104, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a team scrimmage between the Canadiens players.
