Fedex Field Seating Chart, Washington Redskins.

Fedex Field is often rated as one of the worst stadiums in the National Football League. It’s suburban location in Landover, Maryland, one mile walk to the nearby Metro station, and lack of premium seating areas have the Washington Redskins exploring the idea of building a new stadium. Although there is currently no deal for a new stadium, the Washington Redskins are still a historic franchise with a passionate and devout fan base, and play in a competitive division. Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the Fedex Field seating chart to help football fans decide where to sit before purchasing their Washington Redskins tickets.

Where To Sit At Fedex Field

Fedex Field is an extremely easy stadium to navigate considering it is one of the largest stadiums in the National Football League. The core seating areas include the lower level seats, terrace seats, club level seats, and upper level seats. We’ll begin by discussing the lower level seats.

Lower Level

The lower level seats at Fedex Field consist of sections 101 through 142, as well as sections DS 1 through DS 42 (dream seats), and sections 201 through 242 (terrace seats). The rows for most lower level sections are numbered 1 through 28. Keep in mind that due to the location of the dream seats, row 1 in sections 101 through 142 will actually be the 4th row from the field.

The Washington Redskins' sideline is located in front of sections 101 and 142. The visiting team's sideline is located in front of sections 121 and 122. The Washington Redskins' player tunnel is located adjacent to sections 106 and 109. The visiting team's tunnel at Fedex Field is located adjacent to sections 113 and 114. The Washington Redskins have named the lower level of Fedex Field the “George Preston Marshall Lower Level” in honor of the longtime former Washington Redskins owner.

The perks for the dream seats at Fedex Field include the following.

  • All-inclusive food and soft drinks
  • In-seat waiter service
  • Access to the Joe Gibbs Club Level and all of it’s private lounges
  • Private restrooms
  • Comfortable padded seats
  • Discounted parking for the purple lot
  • Concierge service

Terrace Seats

The terrace seats at Fedex Field consist of sections 201 through 242. The number of rows for the terrace sections will greatly vary but will go no lower than row 5, and no higher than row 23.

The terrace sections will have obstructed views of the field due to the club level overhang. Most of the obstructed or “partial view seats” are all located past row 13. Large support pillars will stand in your view of the field in these sections. The low roof will also keep you from seeing the stadium’s large replay boards as well as the punts or long passes on the field. Any seat past row 3 will protect you from the elements and sun.

The rows of seats also don’t have much elevation or incline meaning if someone tall sits in the seat in front of you, you won’t be able to see anything. The terrace sections should be avoided at all costs unless you’re a seasoned fan that knows Fedex Field’s layout really well.

Club Seats

The club seats at Fedex Field consist of sections 301 through 342 on the Joe Gibbs Club Level. The number of rows for the club sections will vary. The rows for most club sections are numbered 1 through 19.

Football fans with club seats will have access to the following climate-controlled club lounges.

  • EA Sports Players Lounge (Near sections 330 through 334)
  • FanDuel Lounge (Near sections 309 through 313)
  • Hooter’s Restaurant (Near sections 314 through 316)
  • DeLeon Platinum Lounge (Near sections 306 through 308)

These club lounges are equipped with upscale food and drinks offerings, and flat-screen HD televisions. Club ticket holders will also have less wait at restrooms and concessions. The club level is accessible by fans with tickets for the club seats, luxury suites, dream seats, loge seats, and Owner’s Club.

Upper Level

The upper level seats at Fedex Field consist of sections 401 through 454. The rows for most upper level sections are numbered 1 through 29. Some upper level sections only have 14 rows of seats. Fedex Field’s upper level offers the most affordable tickets for Washington Redskins home games. Washington Redskins fans more advanced in age will want to purchase tickets as close to row 1 as possible due to the steepness of the upper level steps.

In many cases, Fedex Field's upper level seats are a better seat option than the terrace seats on the lower level. The upper level is known as the “Pete Rozelle Upper Level” in honor of former NFL commissioner Pete Rozelle.
