You know when you walk into your section's entrance and see that the seats are located on the blue line that you've got bought some great seats for hockey. The sidelines offer a great view and I still consider the premier seats to be on the first level, they just sit further back from the ice. Best of all, there are very few rows so you're not sitting with the masses of Kings fans.

I don't really have any venues to compare the Staples Center to, especially for hockey so I'm not sure how great it is. But if it's in LA and it houses the Lakers, it must not be that bad. It's one of the busiest arenas in the United States, I do know that.
The best way is to take Metro Red/Blue Line and arrive to Pico Station.

I loved how the scoreboard was exactly even with the premier sections. Makes the viewing experience that much better when it comes to replays.
