To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 209, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Kings/New York Islanders game at the Staples Center.

I bought a ten game plan for the Kings last season in 209, row 4. Seeing the opposite side of the ice is a breeze from 209. That's the only disadvantage to endzone seating and the best part of sideline seating. The mid levels give you a decent line of sight although they're not as high above the ice as I would have liked but what room would all of the "Suite" holders have for a view?
The benches are to your right and it's awesome when line brawls break out and multiple players take swings at each other. It's hard to match the intensity of hockey games, especially when the Sharks or Ducks are in town.

Parking for the Staples Center is a headache as you could imagine;downtown LA. Try Hope/11th st. for $5 parking and or street parking.
