To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 113, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Kings - Anaheim Ducks game. The video was shot from row 4, seat 4. Awesome seats.

113 stares right at the face-off circles and the Kings' net during periods 1 and 3.
The section's proximity to the ice is amazing, especially from row 1.

The Staples Center is one of the larger NHL arenas so you're bound to battle some big crowds not only to get in the front door but also in the restrooms and to get your beer. Always leave during a stoppage of play, never while the puck is still moving; it's called hockey etiquette and there are a lot of Kings fans that don't follow this rule.

Only thing I would change about this arena is paying more tribute to the Kings in the main concourse area. The Wayne Gretzky statue is awesome but you can tell that the Staples Center primarily caters to the Lakers. Especially when you look in the rafters.
