My girlfriend and I went to an Avalanche-Flyers game last season after a couple of years of being absent. We didn't miss much but our seats in 114 were excellent. We sat in row 14; section 114 doesn't sit right next to the ice but instead sits further back near the concourse area. They call it a loge section for that reason. I loved that all of the sections are even numbered, it makes finding your seat a little easier.

Only thing I would change about the seats would be maybe a little more leg and elbow room but if you give too much, you're not going to be able to squeeze as many fans into the lower levels. The arena is easy to navigate but if you have a hard time finding your seat, the arena staff is always more than willing to help you find your seat.
