Section 210 is pretty good, not the best section in the arena; I've had some good seats and bad seats for Flames games over the years. You'll have to do a good bit looking right since 210 is on the far left end of the ice. The section will overlook the net the visitors shoot twice on.
Seats in the 300s should be avoided at all costs since the roof creates problems for ticket holders up there. Whoever tells you that there isn't a bad seat in this place is full of it because it's just not true.

I recommend giving Flames Central a try, it's a sports bar in downtown that usually has big crowds before and after games. Their food is very affordable.
