Not a bad section at all. View of the north side of the field is strong here but the view declines when the ball is on the south side of the field. Still...had no trouble reading the yard markers and seeing where the ball was spotted. Same side of the field as the Buccaneers sideline. You can still read the numbers of each player's uniform in between plays but not really while the game is going on.
The fans in our section were laid back. Did see a lot of drinking (this is Tampa) but no fights and I've found Buccaneers fans to be very welcoming to visiting fan bases as long as they're being respectful.
If you're a fan of Pirates or Pirate themed things, this place will be really enjoyable for you. Make sure to have your photo taken in front of the Pirate Ship in Buccaneer Cove.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 307, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Buccaneers game at Raymond James Stadium.
