Purchased two tickets in row J for my son and I to attend the Steelers-Philly Eagles game last October. It was a fun experience because there were a lot of Eagles fans in attendance to heat up the rivalry a little bit. This matchup doesn't get much press as being a big rivalry since they never face each other but when they do play, it is.
Steelers ended up barely winning which capped off our experience. We took the Gateway Clipper to the stadium from the South Shore along Carson Street. That was a fun experience as well.

Row J won't leave you with many steps to climb but sitting on bleacher seats are no fun at all. No complaints about the view although you will obviously be able to see the action much better the closer the ball inches towards the North end zone. After row Z, the rows will become double lettered and the higher up you go, the more your line of sight will suffer. At that point, you will probably be referring to the scoreboard most of the game when you could be watching the game at home for free.

A few other things to consider when visiting Heinz Field for a Steelers game...
-Seats cushions aren't allowed.
-You can bring your own food in.
-Restrooms are small, lines are long for it and the concessions.
-There is a Primanti Bros. near section 110. Phenomenal sandwiches!
-The Mellon Garage downtown is only $5. You can just ride the T to the game for free after parking there.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 518, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Steelers/New York Jets game at Heinz Field.
