Very comfortable section to sit in for Steelers games. Gives some shade and protection from the elements thanks to the roofing from the upper level. Also a smaller section so you don't have to worry about dodging thousands of fans to find your seats - I think most fans would probably prefer sitting amongst fewer people instead of one giant section. Very easy to judge the distance of the field but didn't have much success reading the yard markers down on the field so you'll have to pay close attention to the jumbo tron for that information; there is only one and it's in the opposite end zone.

We were also just a quick shoot to the concourse area from our seats which stays crowded before and after the game. So make sure you leave the tailgate in plenty of time to make it through security and make it to your seats before kickoff. I've been late for kickoff in past games simply because I didn't manage my time too well in the parking lot.
Speaking of security, make sure your girlfriend or wife knows that no purses or handbags are allowed into the stadium anymore. You also aren't allowed to bring in any of those seat cushions but are allowed to bring in food from home? I don't get it? But then again, I don't make the rules.
And if you don't have prepaid parking for the lots outside of the stadium, you'll be parking and walking across either the Duquesne Bridge or the Clemente Bridge to the game. It's a pretty decent walk too the deeper you park in downtown.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 221, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Steelers game at Heinz Field.
