I came here a while ago to watch the Giants crush the Browns. ("If it's Brown, flush it down".) Have been to Metlife Stadium for Giants games, Jets games, concerts and Wrestlemania. I've seen all sides of it and have sat on all three levels for football games in all different types of weather. Not going to lie, I loved section 149 mainly because we were so close to the action that day. End zone seats sit much closer to the field than those along the sidelines.
This is a big section with a lot of seats to choose from. Definitely buy your tickets for the first 25 rows. Rows 15-25 will give you the best view of the opposite end as well. Rows 40-46 will have some protection from the overhang in case it rains or snows which is very possible. Depending on where you buy from, tickets for the end zones will run from $120-$180. Also depends on the opponent. Since the Giants were facing the Browns so the demand for tickets wasn't as high. The leg room is very average but not uncomfortable. If you're concerned about comfort, purchase club seats and those will run you a pretty penny.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 149, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Giants game at Metlife Stadium.
