The MetroDome, also known as Mall of America Field, has been home to the Minnesota
Vikings since 1982. It was constructed with an
estimated construction cost of 68 Million dollars
and has a capacity of 64,111; the 27th largest NFL Stadium.
The MetroDome was also home to the Minnesota Twins from 1982-2009. Plans for a new stadium for the Vikings in downtown Minneapolis are currently in the works.
