Had seats about 15 rows up in this section. Could see the north side of the 50 yard line the best. When the ball got past midfield, the view diminished a little bit but I would sit there again without question. Could see over the row of fans in front of us rather easily. Every seat has a holder for drinks and there were plenty of room beneath our seat to store our belongings from the team store. The roof was closed that day but a lot of light shines through so the entire stadium is very bright and shiny. If you've ever been to New Orleans to see the Saints play, you know how dim it can look in there with no light shining through. I also love being able to take my jacket off at a Colts game during December rather than having to wear layer upon layer of clothing.
To get here, you'll want to use the escalator next to the North Gate which is also the main entrance out front. It's a long ride to the top but when you reach the top, take a left and walk around until you see the entrance to section 609. It's very easy, every level makes just one big circle.
If you've never seen a Colts game in person, you're definitely missing out. Tickets are expensive but if you save a little here and there and know where to find tickets, it can become a reality. Lucas Oil is a stadium built for the fans! There are always promotional giveaways, everything is bright, all of the technology is top notch, PA system is loud, Colts fans are friendly to fans of the other team, it's just a great experience for any NFL no matter which team you root for.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 609, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Colts/New England Patriots game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
