I'll admit, I was a little skeptical about sitting on the Gridiron Level because who enjoys the nosebleeds? It's no ones first choice of seating but unfortunately, a lot of Texans fans can't afford decent seats with the way greedy NFL owners are today. The Texans were playing the Carolina Panthers, this was two seasons ago when they went to the Playoffs and lost to the Baltimore Ravens.

Although very far from the field, the view was a good one. We sat in row L which was one of the rows in the middle of the section. Didn't see any Panthers fans in our section which I really appreciated. Seems like any seat you choose along the sidelines of the upper level provide a great panoramic of the stadium. Every seat in our section had it's own cup holder. The seats don't offer too much space at the shoulders though so keep that in mind if you're a big person.
If you're interested in drinking a few St. Arnold's in a bar setting, they have the Crown Royal Saloon not far from these seats on the south side of the Gridiron level. You can do a lap around the entire upper level, it's all connected. Like I said, these are good seats. Likely better than what you're anticipating. Now if the Texans could only have won that day, our experience would have been complete.
