The Ford Field seating chart calls section 240 a "middle end zone" section even though our seats were very much in the corner of the stadium. We had a great view, no complaints about that. It was also a very small section which I liked; only 10 rows. You always worry about taking your kid to an NFL game and them being exposed to tons of drunk fans cursing at the field at the top of their lungs.
We experienced none such in section 240. 240 overlooks the visiting team's sideline exactly, so you can expect some great glimpses of them. In our case, the Minnesota Vikings; great divisional game.

Getting to our seats was a breeze. The stadium is extremely easy to navigate and the stadium staff was helpful although I have heard of the staff being hit or miss in terms of helpfulness.

If you're looking for some great dining in downtown Detroit, the Greektown area is just a block or two away from Ford Field.
