438 sat right on the 40 yard line of the upper west end of Soldier Field. Phenomenal seats as long as your tickets are in the first 12 rows. After that, the view doesn't decline but the experience definitely does. There are upwards of 40 rows in this section so if you sit too high, you'll likely be out of the loop with the game down on the field and it gets super cold up there. There is no 4th level on the east side of the stadium so a lot of wind gusts will catch the fans seated in the 400s. One positive of sitting in the later rows though is that you'll be able to see the downtown Chicago skyline to your left. But our seats were in row 14 and we had a very central view of the field and I could sit there every game. Who can afford lower level seats anyway?

Soldier Field has great aesthetics. It has a mixture of old and new since the stadium looks vastly different than it's first construction. There are plenty of items that point to the rich football history that the Bears have, banners, photos, all decorated in the hallways of the main concourses. As much as it pains me to say, this place doesn't have quiet as much of a mystique as Lambeau Field in Green Bay but it's a close 2nd. You've got to get to a game here if you've never been.
